2009 / 2010 Spanish Class Schedule
The Adventure Travel Institute (ATI) offers realistic, moderately paced programs which make Spanish a part of your life, while keeping in mind that you have a life. Concepts are explained simply and clearly, and are reinforced with a great deal of repetition. There is no text to buy. All materials are included. These are serious classes for adults with a no-nonsense presentation.

| The ATI 2010 Fall Semester begins the week of Monday, September 20, and ends Thursday, December 16. However, there is a significant break (from October 25 to November 14) for the “Day of the Dead,” during which you will have homework, but your class will not meet. After you register, you will receive an “Activities Schedule” for your specific class. | ||||
| Spanish 1: From the Beginning | ||||
| We start at square one and we
don’t miss a step. This is a serious
course for true beginners and anyone
who has studied Spanish before but
wants to start over again. Cost $175 (includes additional activities). |

| Spanish 3: High Beginner - Low Intermediate | ||||
| This class is great for anyone who
has had some Spanish before, but
would like a very thorough review to
build solid skills in the present tense. Cost $180 (includes ATI Season Pass and additional activities). |

| We continue to build the present,
and develop a solid foundation in the
preterite past tense, as well as work
with the initial episodes of our
“Modified Destinos Program.” Cost $190 (includes ATI Season Pass and additional activities). |

| Students at this level have a strong
ability to express themselves in the
present tense, and a good working
understanding of and comfort with the
preterite. We are working on the
imperfect, and the use of the preterite
and imperfect together. At this level,
We have studied to Destinos Episode
19 and Destinos will continue to be an
integral part of this course. Cost $200 (includes additional activities). |

| Spanish 13: High Advanced | ||||
| This course is for of students who
have a very good working knowledge
of Spanish including many tenses and
can understand spoken Spanish pretty
well, but still need a lot of work to
develop their conversational abilities.
Who belongs in this class? If you have
finished at least half, and perhaps all of
our “Modified Destinos Program,” but
still need a lot of practice to develop
the quality and quantity of your
speech, this class is for you. If you are
considering this course, we need to
talk. The design of this class is
complex with great flexibility and
choices and can’t be discussed
completely here. I would like to tell
you about your options. If you had to
drop out at a high level and have been
thinking about coming back in, this is
